Tour details

Wildlife in Manuel Antonio national park is exuberant, you can expect to see, sloths, monkeys, birds, butterflies, lizards, iguanas, crabs, and insects. We will stop to observe different types of plants and trees along the way to Manuel Antonio beach, where the jungle comes right up to the sandy beach. Manuel Antonio's shore is considered a top beach to visit in Costa Rica. So be sure to bring your towel and beachwear to use at the end of the tour. No other park packs so much nature into such a small area. This tour takes around 3 1/2 hours and covers approximately 4.5km (~2.8 miles). During that time a certified bilingual guide will take you through the jungle using their trained eyes to spot wildlife where others would walk on by. Each guide is equipped with professional telescopes which they will set up each time a subject of interest is spotted so you can see up close the detail of the wonderful wildlife in Manuel Antonio. You will have plenty of time to look through the lens and even take a photo with your cell phone to capture the memory forever. We end the tour at the beach and you can choose to spend a short time at the beach before your transfer or you can forgo your transfer and spend the rest of the day inside the park.
